The Q1 2013 Global Reviews Motor Insurance Marketing Effectiveness study looks at the journey consumers take online when looking for motor insurance. Is shows that in a competitive Irish market, recall is low for many brands and companies need to invest in search marketing to increase presence online.
When asked which brands they would put on their shortlist for further consideration before purchase, most consumers cited either three or four brands. The most popular brand mentioned was 123.ie, suggested by 46% of consumers, with 43% wanting to shortlist AXA, 39% shortlisting Aviva and 29% Allianz.
