In June 2016 Global Reviews observed and measured 400 consumers as they sought after a new mortgage provider online and found that 28% of consumers are unable to find the product range on mortgage websites.
If a consumer can’t easily find the product or they face difficulties in using the site, 17% said they would go elsewhere.
On average the Big 4 banks are losing 67% of prospects between the consideration and final selection stages of choosing a provider. Meanwhile the rest of the industry is losing an average of 79% prospective consumers.
