In recent research conducted by Global Reviews, consumers were asked to try and recall up to 5 home loan providers. CBA led with 67% however, they fell behind NAB and ANZ in initial preference with just 7% initially preferring them.
Corresponding benchmark research was also conducted following the customers’ journey, across key brands in the financial services sector, from their initial engagement with the website, when they are locating and considering the products, through to completing the application form.
From the 10 companies assessed for home loans, the consider phase industry average was 54%. RAMS was the top performer within the consider phase, meaning that consumers were able to locate service options, match the options to their personal needs and utilise the site to further assist in the decision making process.
